Sarah went to heaven.

Sarah went to heaven at 3:15 this morning. She died peacefully in her sleep. During the night her breathing became slower and slower until she just stopped. Ben and I stayed up late into the night, in her bed cuddling close, telling her we love her, until we fell asleep. She knew we were with her and she was comfortable. We are very thankful to God that she went this way.

We will have information about Sarah's memorial service and wake tomorrow. I'll post that on the blog and send out an email.

While our hearts are heavy with missing our precious little girl we have faith and hope that we will be with her again in heaven.

Love,
Susan and Ben

God sent you an angel to love. On Wednesday May 6, 2009 God asked for his angel back and you let her go. God Bless you, Sarah, you will live forever in our hearts.

You do not know me but I had been emailed by a friend to pray for Sarah. I am praying for your family now. I have a four year old little girl and your situation weighs heavy on my heart. May God's love prevail and bring you a joy unimaginable in such a circumstance. His love endures forever. God bless your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and extended family at this time. While we know Sarah is now fulling healed and dancing with the angels, we also know there is a special void here on this side of Heaven. Having worked at DHMC/NCCC, and only recently connected with your family before moving to AK - know that the bond of faith holds us together and we share in one another's joys and sorrows.

To all of your family,
It is with heart felt sympathy that I send these words. I know there is a huge void in your lives at this time. Sarah touch a lot of people, and through her courage and your family's continued faith many have grown stronger in their Christian walk. Sarah is now with Jesus and there is no more pain, only joy, laughter and peace.
May God hold you close and comfort you as only He can.
Love

You don't know me either but I have followed Sarah's story too. I have been moved to tears many times, sometimes the most unexpected things, like that sweet video of her many months ago. I'm sorry I didn't comment before; it seems strange to suddenly come "out of the woodwork" and I hope you'll forgive that.

I am just so, so very sorry to hear of dear Sarah's passing, and am crying along with you, her family and friends. A bereaved mom myself, I send my sincerest sympathies, and wish I could somehow honour her better.

Much love
Natalia

I have been praying for Sarah for a very long time now. Mildred Rembert goes to church where we worship. I grieve with you at the loss of your precious Sarah. You see, we lost a son too, because of a drunk driver.

Your entire family will continue to be in our prayers. Heaven has another angel with him now, and you will see her again. Grieve though ... and allow the children to grieve as that has to come before the healing will begin. It's a hard journey but you have shown such strength and grace through these many months. My heart aches for you.

Remember that God will never leave us comfortless. He is always by our side.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful Sarah with us. I will never forget her.

Our sincere sympathy,

Dear Ben, Susan & Family,

I am so very sorry to hear about your precious Sarah. While this is a very sad time for you, all of God’s Angels welcomed your precious Angel at the gates of Heaven, and brought her safely to His keeping, where she will no longer feel the pains and trials of this life.

Forever in my thoughts and prayers,

Dear Susan, Ben and family,
I pray God's peace which passes all understanding and comes from His throne for you and your family. May His Holy Spirit be your constant companion during this time of grief. I know that Sarah's life touched many healthcare professionals and that they will carry her with them throughout their practice and they will never forget her.

I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him, creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel. Peace, peace, to those far and near, says the Lord. And I will heal them. Isaiah 57:18,19

Peace

Dear Ben and Family,

I was not aware of Sarah's condition until just recently and cannot express adequately through words just how sorry I am to hear about your loss.
